This is my first entry. Despite my immense lack of knowledge and skill in blogging and web design, I have decided to start a blog related to anime, figurines and other stuff related to the land of the rising sun and otakuism.
I, myself am just a entry-level (sounds like a job position lol) otaku,who only started watching anime and reading manga in March 2006 and collecting figurines only in November 2006.To date I have a figure collection of 6 scaled,10 non-scaled, as well as 3 gashapon sets, and a few poorly-made(yes I suck at model kit making) model kits. This collection is steadily growing and I have a number of items on my pre-order list.
I have watched a considerable number of series in the timespan of almost a year,so I shouldn’t be too much of a n00b in anime, I suppose.
Well,this post must have bored the hell out of anyone reading it. Now to end this post.
I read somewhere that other otakus have the habit of wanting to look at the rooms of other fellow otakus. I too, have the habit of doing so. Hence, I have decided.
Next post will probably be within this week, and will contain some photos of my unimpressive room.Hopefully, my shelves will be up by then and my figurines all out of their boxes. I can’t believe almost all my figurines are still in their boxes. Stay tuned for the the photoshoot of my room, and comment on how pathetic it is lol.
Oh yea, I almost forgot, I gotta create a banner to replace the current ugly looking one.

so, what have you been doing before you got infected by the ota-disease?
@Zer0 I only started figurine collecting after my o levels last year. Before that I was mainly watching anime/reading manga and reading blogs like yours,tsubaki’s,tj_han’s,darkmirage’s and dannychoo’s.
The day I started collecting was immediately after my exams ,during the 20% (or was it 30%) Latendo sale.
Days before the sale,I was reading Anime desho desho and tsubaki was offering to lend anyone who approached at sunshine plaza his latendo member card. All thanks to him,I’m now collecting figurines.LOL.
Also,my trip to japan in december last year also increased the severity of infection of the ota-disease.

If you named your blog FULL ANIME PANIC (as a spoof of Full Metal Panic), the acronym would spell FAP.
