It has become some kind of a (negative) habit for me to buy at least something anime related every weekend. I guess that why my savings are getting drained slowly as each week passes.
I was determined to end my spending habits this weekend,but it seemed that I succumbed to temptation. All thanks to the 20% Kinokuniya sales at Liang Court.
Here’s a look of what I bought.
At least I managed to restrain myself and only got a few items. Costed $33.20 in all, after the discount.
Also, yesterday, after accompanying my friend to Sim Lim Square to buy some stuff, I went over to Sunshine plaza. At Latendo, I bought this.
I don’t know why i got this, but I got it anyway. After using up 7 points, I paid $20 for this.
Total spendings: $53.20
Seems like a small sum that I spent, right? Well, if I spend that amount every week, I will not even be able to eat. My allowance is $200 a month. Do the math and see if I’m able to survive. Lol
Starting from next week onwards, I gotta stop spending so more than my weekly allowance on anime merchandise, or my bank account’s gonna bleed dry one of these days.
Maybe I should avoid randomly going to places like Sunshine Plaza, Kinokuniya as well as China Square Central during the weekends.That will reduce my spendings, I suppose.
On another note, I’ve gotten some money,which is actually not going to me. I managed to secure a scholarship so my school fees are covered by the school. Now all I need to do fufill the scholarship’s requirements but getting top 5% of the cohort every term… and getting into an active CCA. The latter would be a more difficult task.
You can save more if you get your Japanese mags from KKnM at Sunshine Plaza. Its cheaper than what Kinokuniya can offer even after the 20% discount
