Genshiken is coming back!!!
Ok,pardon my reaction since this piece of news is like,a week old or even older,and I only waited till now to blog about it now.But,still,I must express my excitement. Lol.
I still remember the 1st episode of Genshiken. The first few minutes of the show,I was going WTF is this stupid show. Luckily,I didn’t stop and continued or I would have missed an anime which IMO is the best slice-of-life anime I have ever seen so far.
Slice of Life anime + Otakus =WIN !!!
Seriously,its an enjoyable anime.In fact,I was kinda addicted to it.Too bad the first season was too short,only 12 episodes.After the first season came to OVAs,which are currently being subbed very slowly.Man,I wished I didn’t drop Japanese 4 years ago.
Hopefully the second season would be as good as or even better than the first.
Have you watched Densha Otoko and Akihabara@DEEP j-drama? You’ll wear your Otaku style as a badge of pride.
@Zer0: Yea I watched those too. I liked Akihabara@Deep more though. There was also a movie for Akihabara@Deep,but wasn’t as good as the dorama,IMO.
Densha Otoko was so-so IMO.Some parts were quite good,but I felt it was kinda boring in some other parts. Well,it’s all personal opinion.Anyway,have u watched the movie yet? I’m not sure if the dorama or movie is better as i haven’t watched it yet.
Yeah, Genshiken is a great show and I’m really glad they’re making another season because the OVAs have been enjoyable so far.
I saw Densha Otoko and loved that but I’ll have to look into this Akihabara@Deep.
The Densha Otoko drama is definitely more interesting than the movie and the stage-play adaptation
