Furu Anime Panikku

Well,since I began watching anime with Detective Conan,I figured that i should do a post about it.

After more than 10 years , Detective Conan is still running, both the manga and the anime. The 11th movie just came out in late April 2007. There seems to be no sign of Detective Conan ending anytime soon. What makes it such that Detective Conan can run for such a long time?

Well I came out with the following deductions:

-Would you rather watch an anime about a genius adult detective solving cases,or a genius detective who has his body shrunk from a 17-year-old to a 7-year-old,who not only solves cases by knocking and mimicking the voice of his girlfriend’s father,but also fights against a secret organization who has an unknown boss and members who are killers dressed all in black?

11th movie and Conan still looks the same age

-The characters don’t age together with real time.After more than 10 years,Conan is still that small,Ran is still going to high school, and Kogorou still hasn’t retired

-Seems like Aoyama Gosho doesn’t run out of ideas on how to murder people.After 57 volumes,he still can write/draw more chapters.If I was the one who was supposed to think of all the murder cases,I’d give up after the first book.

-The anime/manga has quite a number of interest points to substain viewers/readers. For example,I would continue watching for the Black Organization and Kaitou Kid developments. Others might continue watching for the Shonen Tantei group, Heiji X Kazuha, Shinichi X Ran, Shinichi X Ai etc.

-People watch on for the cool gadgets.Hell,where can you find a watch which shoots out anaestatic needles and shoes that boost your power so much that u can knock out a person with a kick of a can.
