One moment you can be there,and the next moment you depart from the world.That’s how life is. You can lose your’s anytime.
This morning,while on the train, I spotted an article on the 1st page of the Straits Times main section that left me in a little shock.There was a picture of a guy who was in my Geography class for secondary 3 and 4. He was just in the class next door. And now he’s gone.
Thoughts flashed through my mind upon seeing the article.He always represented the school for biathlons and triathlons while we were in secondary school.In my mind,he was one of the fittest people of my age group that I have ever met.How was it possible that someone as fit as him would collapse?
Also,I was reminded on Izumi Sakai’s death. She also left the world so suddenly without even saying goodbye to her fans and loved ones.Hours before I read the news about her death,I was still listening to some of her songs.
This made me realize something.You can never be sure when the people around you will leave you. Although Thaddeus was an acquaintance and classmate, I am still saddened to see him depart from the world. I still remember the fun and crazy times we had as a group at the back of the classroom during Geography lesson. T.T

Hey… even a Singapore Armed Forces commando Colonel can die after completing a marathon. Well I’m sorry for the loss it must be pretty hard on you.
Life is ultimately fragile so live it to the fullest and don’t be too stingy with your cash
Well nothing is certain. I’m sure many of Thaddeus’ schoolmates/ex-schoolmates,even those not so close ones are very saddened and shocked by his sudden departure.I wasn’t really close to him,but still,its sad to see someone whom you know depart from this world. sigh.
