This is the first time I’m recruiting a magic-based character into my collection.
*drumroll*
Standing at 21cm tall,with a magical dagger as her weapon,it’s BOME’s Rin Tousaka from Fate/Stay Night!
Here’s some background information from Wikipedia of this sassy magical girl:
Her birthday is February 4 and her blood type is O. At the time of Fate/Zero, her height is 124 cm, while her weight is 29 kg. Ten years later, she had grown to 159 cm and weighed 47 kg, and her three-sizes are B77/W57/H80.
A model student and idol of Shirou’s school, Rin is secretly a sorceress and Master in the Holy Grail War. She is descended from a long line of sorcerers, and though lacking a formal magic education, is extremely powerful in her own right. Her father was killed in the 4th Holy Grail War, and she has trained since his death to succeed him. She is perceptive, resourceful and avidly competitive. Although she tried to summon a Saber-class Servant, she accidentally called Archer instead.
Ok now that everyone knows more about her,let’s begin looking at some pictures of her.
I took her out of the blister pack,as I simply just could not resist the temptation to do so. I never measured her,so I don’t know if she’s really 21cm tall. But still she’s pretty tall,as you can see from the picture above. You can estimate her height roughly from the monitors behind.The one on the left is a 19″ and the other one is a 17″.
Rin’s quite detailed,but one thing I don’t like is how the middle part of her hair is joint together. It just doesn’t seem natural.
Rin’s base is pretty unique,with a magical circle used in casting spell as it. One thing I like about BOME’s figurines are the unique base designs. The Full Metal Panic BOME figurines have really cool bases too.

Overall,this figurine is pretty worth the money,with the really cool dagger,decently base design,and the decently painted Rin.Normally,BOME’s products are often worth getting.I got it at around $60 from KKnM. I think Treasureland is selling for cheaper though,but I suppose a few dollars won’t really matter much.
Rin waiting patiently for Saber…
The BOME version of Saber is supposedly said to be released somewhere late this month,so I suppose it’ll arrive in local shops at around early August,I hope. I’m sure it isn’t good to keep a Tsundere with magical powers waiting…
I’ve already preordered Saber from KKnM already,and I think the price of Saber should be the same as Rin. Hopefully,Saber will turn out as good,or even better than Rin ^^
I really like that figure and feel the magic circle is a nice feature, but Rin seems the type to wear black pantsu! lol, but apart from that, she is a must buy!
