Looks like Summer is coming to an end soon, but not that it matters anyway since Singapore is summer 24/7.
A good way to commemorate the summer of 2007 would be to attend this year’s Natsumatsuri at the Japanese School Changi Campus. It’s my first time attending such an event, so I have no idea how fun or interesting it is. I’m going there as a helper.
This year’s Natsumatsuri is held on 25/8, which is a Saturday, beginning at 6pm. I read that tickets can be purchased at the entrance of the school on the day itself, at $10, which comes together with $10 worth of coupons that can be spent at the event. Buying the tickets at the entrance is not advised though,as the queue would most likely be long.

As for what I’ve heard about the event, yukatas can be borrowed, there’s japanese snacks to try and some fun games too. I’m still thinking if I should borrow a yukata. I wonder how I would look like in one.
Anyway,I’m sure it’s going to be quite an eventful day on 25/8. Anyone interested in the tickets, you can contact me. No promises, but I suppose I could get them through the school or Japanese Cultural club.
For those who are going for the Natsumatsuri, see you there ^^
