When I said I would not be updating till the exams ended,I guess I lied. =p
Anyway,when my friend in Japan decided to go to the Wonderfest 2007,I asked him to get me some stuff. Half of my mind was thinking “I doubt he’ll be able to get the stuff. It would have ran out by the time it’s his turn”
Looks like I was wrong.
I requested for the Fate/Zero pair and the 1/6 Ayanami Rei by Volks.
And I got both. The total damage,excluding shipping was almost 20,000 yen. With shipping included,it rose up to 23,000 yen,which after a high estimation of 1000 yen = S$13(it’s supposed to be around S$12.60) is about S$300.
The Ayanami Rei better be worth my money.
I doubt I have the money to pay him all in one go,especially since my preorders are coming in soon. I’ll just have to somehow dig out the money. And worse,I can’t be taking up a job during the September holidays,as I only have 2 weeks remainding after the Chiba Exchange Programme Trip.
As thanks to my friend,Benny,who was the one who queued under the blistering summer heat and in the sweaty,stuffy exhibition hall so that I can get some stuff,I will be posting the link to his retail website. Although given the prices over there I don’t think your wallet will have much of a reason to celebrate anytime soon . . .
