I was listening to the Ghost in the Shell : Stand Alone Complex OST 2,and when I heard the song Rise,the current ODEX fiasco came to my mind.
For those who do not know, Rise is the OP song for Ghost in the Shell : SAC 2nd GiG.It’s not in Japanese,but still cool. For those who have not heard it,please do. It’s quite addictive and catchy,even if you don’t know Russian.
Anyway,this is the part.

This whole situtation could either mean the rise or fall of anime in Singapore.

This whole Odex situation is already making waves - more like ripples right now, but give it time - in the US (via Anime News Network). Some forum posters are concerned that the RIAA may adopt similar tactics in due course, depending on how things play out in Singapore.
