I just bought my Gurren Lagann Impact Model around 2 weeks ago when I was in Akihabara. The picture below is of the model which I own.

Going at 19740 yen, roughly 3.5 times the price I got my normal wingless Gurren Lagann, I doubt I will ever be able to get this.
A 20cm posable mecha figurine with a 1/1 core drill… Is it really worth the money? I think I can get around 4 1/8 scaled figurines with that kind of cash. I think I’ll wait for the core drill’s picture to be released before I make my decision.

The core drill is still the main attraction of this expensive Gurren Lagann with wings.

lol.. Will save up my bonus for this baby… It rocks and I wonder if Gainax going to release the figurine for anti spiral and Teppen Toppa Gurren Lagann.. I like it alot.
I think another reason why it’s so expensive is that some parts are Diecast.
I bought myself the Lagann Impact Model recently, it’s waiting for me at home next time get a break from University. It looks awesome, and I am so happy I own it. I thought it was the bee’s knees.
And I still do.

When I saw this, I was like “OH shit. I must own that.” Now I find out it comes with a Core Drill? Now I’m like “FUCK, I cannot wait to own that.”
Pricetag be damned, I have never wanted a toy more. It will top my Masterpiece Optimus Prime.
