Furu Anime Panikku

It’s been a long time since the previous season of You’re Under Arrest. Not that long for me though, as it was only during the earlier half of this year when I watched it, which might be a good thing. For me,the transition between the 2nd to 3rd new season was only a few months, instead of years.

This post is basically for me to state what I hope the new season would have/be like.

• More Natsumi X Toukairin

This is a MUST. After all, I think they are the best paired couple in the series. Much better than Nakajima and Miyuki. The particular emotional scene in the first season when Natsumi rushes to the airport to see Toukairin off has always, and will probably always be my favourite scene in the entire You’re Under Arrest series.

• Nakajima to stop being such a wimp

Please Nakajima, stop being such a disgrace to all men. Grow some balls and stop being such a coward. Miyuki has already waited for 2 seasons and you still have not confessed your love to her in a proper manner. What a loser…

• More action packed scenes

Episode 1 was quite a satisfying start, with the car chase and Natsumi making her jump stunt from her bike into the van look like child’s play. Action is best if it’s realistic, but I would definitely not mind more stunts which defy the laws of physics. After all, it’s anime =P

I have waited eagerly for Fall 2007 just for this series’ new season, and of course Genshiken 2, which has not aired yet. I find that this Fall is going to be kind of boring though, as there would only be a few shows that I would be picking up. Hopefully, this season of You’re Under Arrest would not let me down.Oh what the hell am I saying?
