This may be fun to laugh at, but it seriously sucks if it really happens to you. Especially if the victim of the accident is a newly purchased figurine. It hurts your heart even more if you were the one who caused the damage. After all, if it was someone else, you could push the blame and feel slightly better. Or maybe get that someone to buy you a new figurine.
The best way to prevent this from happening would probably be to leave your figurines in their boxes or on your display shelf, and not fondle with them unnecessarily. The lesser times you come in contact with your figurine, the lower the chances of such an unfortunate situation occurring.
This is one lesson all figurine collectors should learn from. And not make the same mistake.
