No one blogs about Detective Conan. Or at least no one whom I know. Everyone probably thinks that Detective Conan is just another typical shonen anime/manga series which is not worth paying any attention to. But not me. I think it’s awesome.
Anyway first piece of news about Detective Conan is the 12th Movie. For the benefit of those who don’t know, there’s a Detective Conan movie release annually in April, sometime during the Golden Week period. That’s quite a long way Detective Conan has gone, isn’t it?
The title of this 12th theatrical feature is 「戦慄の楽譜」, with 楽譜 read as フルスコア. The English translation would be “Full Score of Fear”. The release date of the movie can be seen after the break.
As seen from the promotional picture above, this movie would have plot revolving around the piano and Music. A murder or crime related to such a classy theme would prove to be rather interesting.
Somehow, looking at this picture of Conan tapping the piano keys, the 6th Detective Conan Movie, The Phantom of Baker Street comes to mind. I guess they are rather similar, as both have a promotional picture of Conan performing on a musical instrument. In the 6th movie’s promotional chirashii, Conan can be seen playing the violin. And I have a figurine of him doing that.
I have rather high expectations of this movie, considering how the recent 11th Movie, Detective Conan: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure, was a letdown. I think it was one of the worst Detective Conan Movie ever. Detectives and Pirates just don’t mix well. But I hope that Detectives and Music do.
Enough of the 12 Movie. Next up, the 2nd dorama episode for Detective Conan.
Last year in October, the first episode of the Live Action was aired, and despite being a prologue to the actual storyline, it was quite interesting. Too bad the CGI effects were rather cheesy, and they didn’t have a real life Conan. But it looks like we might be seeing one this time round.

- Title (English): Return of Kudo Shinichi! Showdown with the Black Organization

The main cast remains, and there are new core characters added to the dorama, namely the Professor, Miyano Shiho (Haibara Ai), and Gin from the Black Organisation. Also, it seems like there’s the loli and shota version of Conan and Haibara Ai.
With more characters introduced this time, viewers can look forward to more storyline and character development. I guess.

well I guest the 12th movie of detective conan will be great as long as the ran-shinichi lovestory will be there. i agree with you about the 11th movie, it was a little upset to me because there was no so much conflick compared to the previous movies…. BUT WHAT I REALLY REALLY HATE most is the live action they must not immitate animes because it looks awkward and thats the most thing I hate about the producers of the animes they are making it in live actions,… when I’ve heard about it im sooo upset!… grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… if theres any way i could let them know bout my feelings…
I love Detective Conan ^^ and I agree with you with the 11 movie, I’t really was not there best, I really like movie 4 6 7 ^^ there my fav, I have only seen the first live action I can’t find the other ^^!
for me, Detective Conan (Meitantei Conan) is the best anime I’ve ever seen. I do not understand nihonggo well but i love seeing the series and movies because of the impact it brings to me. English subtitle helps a lot of course. I’ve seen a lot of episodes because I’ve been searching for them well. I’ve also seen all of the movies and looking forward on seeing this recent one to be shown on April. I love everything about this anime. I don’t look at it as disappointing but rather frustrating. A lot of things can be learned and discovered. I don’t plan on seeing the live action movie because what i love about DC is the characters in the anime and the joy it brings to me. I have all of the theme songs (opening and ending). What I love best was the 2nd movie ending theme. And also, the flow of the story always carries me away, so i proudly recommend to everyone Detective Conan because once you watch this, you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

For me, D-C is the best anime and manga i’ve ever watched and seen!!!! i just LOVE it! Same thing for me, about the last movie, the 11th.. it’s wasn’t the best.. But, i’m sure the next will be great.. Sure, if there’s a story, or something happening between Conan and ran, or if we see an episode between Shinichi and ran…
Anyway, Meitantei konan is great, and i know i’m not the only one who love it..
Just one reproach: it’s too slow, and in the 57 mangas, just 2 years happened…
detective conan is my favorite anime and manga but my problem is whare can i watched movie 12 because im really want to see it because every time im watching the trailer i really want to watch the whole movie..
