Looks like this action figure came in early. It was supposed to be officially released on the day that marks the start of 2008, but I was rather delighted that it came just before Christmas. Not that I celebrate Christmas anyway…
Activity: Count the number of Reis in the photo below

No I didn’t buy 2. This image is photoshopped.
With my camera back to my side, I decided to take a few shots.
Enjoy this unprofessional review. Please refrain from clawing your eyes out because of the poor quality photos.
Of course, the caption for the photo above is a true as describing Shinji as a courageous young man who doesn’t fap to unconscious orange-haired tsunderes.
First up, the contents include inside the box.
And of course, the base and stand.
And now for more pictures of Rei…
This action figure is definitely worth every single cent (or yen). For an action figure this cheap, I never expected the paintwork to be so impressive. The details of Rei’s head was like those of a decent standard scaled figurine.
Also, the concealment of the joints was well done. Also, the equipment included in the package was a rather smart choice, as the Lance of Longinus increases the cool factor of the figurine. It’s a much better choice as compared to the upcoming Revoltech Asuka’s doll.
If you plan to display this action figure with the Lance of Longinus, do be prepared to assign it a wide space, as the Lance of Longinus consumes a lot of storage space.
As of now, this might be the only Fraulein Revoltech that I would purchase. I dislike Asuka and the Revoltech Rin doesn’t look half as good as Rei.

I also just gotten myself a Fraulein Rei while exploring the Hong Kong otaku haunt in the Mongkok area. I paid HK$105 for it (market price, undiscounted), which works out to be about S%21. Was thinking about you when I spotted that figure fresh out of the shipping crate.
Haha, I ordered from KKnM. I got it at the preorder price of $26.
O: !!! Mine’s still in the warehouse of HobbySearch. Darn. I hope it gets here fast.
