I’m sure everyone who reads this blog has had a dream that is somewhat related to Anime/Manga, or some aspects of Otaku Culture, at least once. Especially since we probably all think, sleep, eat and drink anime. It could be some ecchi dream with all the hawt anime girls flocking around you to your heart’s desire. It could you be piloting this ultra cool transformable mecha, out to save the world. It could even be something more realistic, like having your dream otaku room.

Everyone dreams, but not all dreams are recalled upon awaking from slumberland.
I probably dream anime/manga and whatnot every time I sleep, but I cannot really recall much of the dreams related to this topic, if there are that many. One dream, however, was rather unique that I actually remembered it. The whole dream felt so realistic and actually sent a chill down my spine when I woke up. There were neither moe characters nor leet mechas present in my subconscious mind during that dream.
It was a dream about Battle Royale. And I have totally no clue as to why I had such a dream. Why do I recall such nightmares so vividly, while allowing all the sweet dreams to leak past my memory bank?
Surprisingly, this dream occurred months after I last touched any Battle Royale material. The human mind’s randomness just never fails to marvel me.
Somehow, I found myself suddenly in The Program, and I had to kill others to survive. One thing interesting was that I was unable to recognize any other faces. Everyone seemed to be faceless characters who carried weapons around, trying to hunt each other down. I survived for a while, without killing anyone. Basically, I just ran around the vicinity, hiding from all humans. Eventually, I expired without laying a finger on any of the other participants. The whole dream was flooded with emotions that were such of Doomsday. Fortunately, it only a remained a dream. I am unable to imagine what would happen if such a horrifying, gruesome event is carried out in the distant future.
Upon death in the dream, I was instantly teleported back to sane reality.
I would probably not survive the Program, and die within the first hour, though I would not be certain if I would abstain from killing, as natural instincts might just engulf whatever little remains of my humanity.
My anime-related dream wasn’t that enjoyable. The thought of getting gunned down in a deathmatch, followed by multiple stabs, isn’t at all amusing, even if it was only a dream.
So, for those of you who have had any interesting experiences in you subconscious mental state, maybe you would like to share your tales?

Your dream was rather a nightmare~
Hmm I had dreams related to Anime/Manga, I remember just a few of them or it’s often just a character from an anime who appears. I had also ecchi (H ?) with Tohsaka Rin but it’s a little embarrassing to relate this :p
hmm anime dreams, cant remember if i have any. Is a dream with a seiyuu counted?
