I don’t think anime drive is the appropriate phrase to use here, since it sounds weird. Anyway, it’s use to describe the motivation and desire to watch anime. Just think of sex drive if you don’t get it.

Yesterday’s post was FAP’s 200th post. Technically, it should not exactly be counted as 200 posts, considering some short crappy posts with to link to anime I wrote when I was hosted back on wordpress, but no matter.
Anyway, since this post is the first to pass the 200 mark, I decided I should post on something I have never touched on before. All this while, I have been writing posts that were related to anime. Today, I will be posting about the people who watch anime and post about it. That’s right, the anime blogsphere, or more like some of the local blogs which I frequent. If I did both local and non-local blogs, this post would probably see no end.

I just simply adore Persona -Trinity Soul- for its winter setting. As such, I have decided to compile some pictures of the winter scenery as of episode 4. I’m sure everyone who watches anime has been influenced in some way, like those who want to be bakers after watching Yakitate Japan, or those who want to play majong after watching Akagi. Some of the influence result in short term interests, while the stronger influences result in interests that remain for years, or even a lifetime.
Just recently, I was once again influenced by anime, this time in a positive way. For almost more than a year, I have not exercised a single bit. However, just a few days ago, I broke this record. I swam for the first time since god knows when.

If only the pool had girls like this to motivate people like me to swim…
And the anime which influenced me? Major. Now, you must be thinking, what the hell has Major, a baseball anime got to do with me swimming?
I have cable TV, but unfortunately, my cable TV does not include subscription to Animax. It’s not a big deal, since I spend most of my time at home facing my computer. The only time I watch TV is when I have my meals in the living room. It doesn’t bother me that my parents decide to forgo subscription to Animax, but it does bother my sister.

Since my parents would rather spend money on Channel VV which airs Taiwan, Hongkong and Korean but no Japanese dramas, instead of allowing my sister to get her desired channel, my sister has thought of an idea that is so unique, I wouldn’t even have thought of it. Her determination to view Animax far exceeds my imagination.
Here’s how she does it:
