Since When Did My School Have Property Related To Anime?

Look at what I spotted in one of the computer labs in my school.

Pardon the pathetic 2 megapixels quality. I’m not a camwhore who brings my camera everywhere I go

Awesome B2-sized poster. On first sight, I was thinking that it was something along the lines of a bootleg, or self printed. However, when I inspected it in close range, I was surprised that it was actually an official Japanese poster. I wonder who would have put up such a poster. Also, out of everyone in my class, it appears that only I took notice of the poster, despite it being placed prominently at the front of the lab. This says a lot about the people in my class who are into anime.

Man, I so want this ゲド戦記 poster. If only I could take it down and bring it home. Its literally screaming out to me to do so.

One of the things that my group of friends do when in Tokyo is to steal the posters they put up at train stations and walkways. They made off with one huge poster from Ultraman Festival…only to leave it on the train.

Wow, it’s quite a pity. I heard that some Japanese Otakus have the habit of stealing posters too.

    Just do it! Steal it!
Have you watched that anime yet?

    Evil!

Anyway, I have not watched it yet, but I heard some friends of mine (not in my class) who raved about how awesome it was. I’ll probably watch in after my exam period.

When I was on JET, the first day I visited the school I worked in, they had a Public Safety ad poster promoting seat belt use that had Ruri from Nadesico on it. I was going to rip it off, but when I came back it had already been replaced by something else. Too bad.
