With Chinese New Year and all the red packets, I figured I should do a post on my otaku finances.

That’s only 5 figurines so far for 2008. I have a few other figurines that I have my eyes on, such as the Gurren Lagann Revoltech figurine, and the ARX-8 Revoltech figurine. All I’m waiting for is their release announcements.
It seems like my purchases are slowing down by a whole lot. Somehow, I lost a whole lot of passion that I used to possess when I purchased merchandise in the past. For example, even though I’m a fan of Gurren Lagann, I didn’t even budge when the Dai Gurren Dan flag was available at an acceptable price. I guess this happens after one has been a collector after a while. Or maybe there’s some other reason.
At least my wallet is able to breathe more freely for now.
I wish I had enough money to buy that much.
