Since I’m a guy, and a nerdy geekish one to begin with, I was never interested in dressing myself up. That means no accessories, t-shirt (Read : COSPA)/shirt and jeans/three-quarter pants as my common dressing and no styling of hair. I don’t have really have any reason to dress up anyway.

As a result of me not having the habit to dress up, I also grew to dislike accessories. I can’t understand why people wear all the fanciful rings and whatnot.

However, this dislike of mine changes when it comes to anime I like/love. I’m just another of those fans waiting to be milked by the license holders of his/her favourite anime.

This coming Spring (April), a bunch of Evangelion accessories are scheduled for release. It looks like my wallet’s hole is further ripping apart.

For a change, some budget Evangelion accessories are being released. They look decent for their price, and the chances of fans making a purchase is much higher than those designer Evangelion rings that cost ten thousands of yen.

I’ll probably be getting the rings, since they look rather cool with the engraved logos, and cheap too, coming at 2625 yen each. That’s about 30 odd Singapore dollars for one of them, and my wallet should be able to stomach this pain. As for the necklace, I might or might not be getting it. Despite it going at a rather affordable price of 3675yen, I’m rather hesitant about getting it due to the cross.

Despite me wanting to get these accessories, it does not mean that I will be wearing them. I shall stay true to my “No Accessories” principle. The rings will be safely behind my Evangelion collection’s A.T field, and so will the pendant, if I eventually decide to get it.

What I really hope is for these Evangelion goodies to be released really early in April (the first week), so that I can purchase them at the original retail price without having to pay extra for shipping or marked up prices. Damn, my list of stuff to get has just increased. Things are just not looking good for my wallet.
