Yoko Ritona’s Journey To Singapore

It wasn’t much of an adventurous journey, really. Basically, Yoko departed Amazon Japan in Tokyo on 28th February, took a flight, stopped by Subic Bay Freeport in the Philippines for a short break, before finally making her way over to Singapore. She arrived this morning, 29th February at 6am, while I was still snuggling in bed. Some time around 10am, she arrived at my doorstep with her escort, the Fedex delivery man.

Yoko’s flight route right after the break.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up Yoko’s short trip from the land of the rising sun over to sunny little red dot. I hope she has gotten used to the heat in Singapore. After all, it’s freezing cold in Japan now.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann DVD Volume 8 came with a box to fit DVDs 5 to 9. The box’s art is really cool. I didn’t scan it as I would never have the heart to take apart something so important. However, some brave and sacrificial soul actually scanned the box’s art.

Hurray, now I don’t have to dismantle the box in order to admire the entire artwork from a single angle.

Now, all that remains is for me to obtain the last DVD volume. 8 down, 1 more to go.

    Isn’t it especially expensive to import single DVD volumes separately? I wish I could collect the R2 Gurren Lagann DVDs but it’d cost me more than I have. Just bought Oblivion on the PS3. <.<

    looks cool but since the dvd is from japan, it doesn’t comes with english subtitles right? :-(
    maybe i’ll catch the anime if i have the time. ^^;

    Mark > It is, but with the discount Amazon Japan had, the total price would be the same as getting directly from a retail shop in Japan. I made this order in a hurry as I totally forgot that it was going to be released. Recently, much has been on my mind >_>

    gordon > Yea, there are no english subs. I’m buying for collection purposes. You should really catch Gurren Lagann sometime soon ^^
