I was frankly sick of anime at a certain point in January, but eventually I started watching it again. I myself felt that burn quite a long time ago and ended up only watching 1/4 of what I normally did for 2 months. But after that I was back to regular amounts. The other reason would be your tastes in anime has refined as well where you prefer particular series rather than try to watch everything under the sun.
