I’ve been waiting forever for the release date for the ARX-7 by Alter to be announced, but after almost a year of playing the waiting game, there was still no hint. Only some prototypes at the various figurine events. In Wonderfest ‘08, there seemed to be no pictures of the ARX-7 taken. I started to worry that it might have been dropped.
Then, I saw this.

This is why you should frequent GA Graphic. They cover stuff no one else covers.
I was overjoyed by the confirmation! But there would be a problem. The price.
Seriously, give me a freaking break, Alter. 13 fucking thousand yen for this?! I understand that it comes with many parts and equipment, but it only stands at 14.5cm, and I doubt there are any diecast parts.
Oh crap, here I go again, complaining. Don’t worry though, I will probably still purchase this once it’s released(I heard it’s Summer 2008), since the FMP fanboy within me stirs, breaking free from the chains of discipline to land a critical blow on my pitiful wallet with the Lambda driver. This spells doom.
All I can do now is wait and hope that the pricing is a mistake on Alter’s part, which will probably never be the case. In the worst case scenario, I should simply bow down to Alter’s tyranny and obediently hand over the 13,000 yen.
He looks mean! Any idea if the cockpit opens? The many parts are cool. I just hate the option of having too many parts and only ONE body to put them on. -.-!
dice > I think the cockpit does open. More parts with only one body means that the figurine company earns more and the fans face the dilemma of deciding which parts to display. Evil, I tell you =0
It sure is pricey but if you’re an FMP (mech department) fan, it’s a must have (even if saving up cash takes you forever).
Yeah its quite expensive but hell Im going to buy this one even if it cost to 20,000 yen!! >,< been waiting for this model..
