頑張りましょうね、Ｄｏｕｂｌｅさん！いっしょけんめいすれば、日本語ぜったい上手になりますよ！

Yeah, the actual translating part is tough. It's easy(er) to just look up for the words and grammar, but to string all the bits and pieces into a coherent English sentence without it sounding like it's out of a text-book is hard!

Don't worry if your translations are wrong or incorrect! The thing is that you need to know what went wrong where, so you know what exactly's wrong with the translation or how it could be improved!! (XD I wish someone would correct my rabu-retta translations!)

My Japanese isn't great or anything, but I'd be more than glad to help out! :D

I must be worse then, I tried translating songs from other people who are versed in Japanese, asking for their translations and then combining them into the best version that I feel captures how the song would be translated into English. The most recent one I tried to do on my own though is still under way, I am waiting for translations from one or two others before I compile into one good version on my blog.

Anyway what you are doing is definitely not futile, there are songs I always wished there would be translations of, but could never find any on the net. So I figured, why not do your part for the rest of the world and come up with your own where possible, even if it means getting help from others?

Do keep the translation going and post them up in your blog. Get others to give constructive feedback and corrections, it also improves your Japanese while you are at it. Hope to see some soon. Cheers.

Oh by the way, I added you on MSN. Just so you do not suddenly think, who the hell is this dude who added me.
