As much as I hate to admit that the new girl is a twin-tailed brown-haired meganekko, the fact remains. Now that she’s in an official Gainax game, I guess there’s nothing much to discuss anymore.
The description translates to “A mysterious girl. Probably can meet her in the cinema”, or something like that. What a BIG HINT!!!
But seriously, why a name such as Mari? Sounds a little too weird for my liking.

A slight correction with your translation. 会うis in the potential form so the translation is probably more like, “A mysterious girl. Probably can meet her at the movies…”
