It took me quite some time to unpack all my baggage from the trip, and finally, I’m done. Unlike my previous school trip where all the loot could be captured in a single photo, this time’s loot had to be split into multiple photos. It will be much easier for view as similar items have been grouped into the same photo.
行くぞ!!!
First up, we have the PVCs
Not many figurines this time, but still much more compared to my previous trip. The GrimRock! Mix Edition was going for really cheap, around 1,600 yen. A Wonderfest item going at such a price is a must grab. The Wave Apostle was an EvaStore limited edition which I have been hunting for ever since I started collecting the series 2 years ago. The pricing was reasonable to me, so I got it at slightly below 4000 yen. Saber was nicely priced at around the same range too, so I conveniently grabbed her too. The ArmSuit was going at a 20% discount, and I sort of wanted it since I lacked mecha figurines.
Next, the visual and audio material. I think I spent most here. Darn overly expensive Japanese CDs and DVDs which I just can’t resist buying!
Everything that I bought here was planned, except for Chihara Minori’ s latest single, Melty Tale Storage. Sure, I like her, but not to that much of an extent of buying her CD. I’ll probably sell it together with the poster if I really don’t want it. The rest of the artistes are the ones that I frequently tune in to. Shimokawa Mikuni, Tsubaki, 9mm Parabellum Bullet and Asian Kungfu Generation. No Bump of Chicken since I already have their albums. I actually wanted to buy Radwimp’s 4th album, since I really like all the songs in it. Too bad for the limitation named cash.
Reading materials are good both for the mind and soul. And hence, I have bought quite a bit of them. I’ll split them into 3 photos each under a different category of reading material.
Basically, an up-to-date set of Evangelion and Full Metal Panic Stigma and a copy of some random manga which I picked up when I was in Animate.
Wave 2, light novels, artbooks and whatnot
I bought 10 volumes of the Full Metal Panic light novel series. I left out the other side story novels, since I lacked the cash and the ability to bring them back. Also, in case you were wondering the book in the book cover is the Byousoku hardcover novel. Windbell bought it too.
This was my first time buying entering a doujin shop and buying doujinshi. I was rather worried about getting chased out each time I entered, but apparently, my worries were for nothing. Just another 7 months and I can get doujinshi legally!
Managed to get some Re-take, but it was impossible to get the entire set. Not when the stores don’t seem to carry any stock of it. Chocolate Shop’s yummy ^^
By the way, I didn’t expect the doujinshi to be so heavy until I packed all of them together.
All this reading material will probably last me for some time before I need to get more at double of their prices at Kinokuniya >_<
And finally, some random stuff that wouldn’t fit into any category.
When I looked at my entire loot combined, I simply am unable to believe that this little loot would amount to over 100,000 yen of expenditure. What I’ve bought actually isn’t much, really.
Time to start saving for my future desires, right after I collect my 1/8 Rei and 1/6 Misato.

$$ disappears real fast in Japan… and without you knowing it.
I see some stuff that I got as well ^^ like the gurren Lagann game, eva mousepad and eva coffee. btw you might have missed out 2 other designs for the eva coffee… I managed to find one with asuka in a yellow dress and another with misato and kaji.
w t f. u actually bought claymoar h doujin?! wad’s teh matter?!?!?!?
that aside, i could take that chihara minori’s singles and poster off you. hope u see me at a nice cheap price or *cough* you could give me as an omiyage *cough*

bj0rn > I bought that claymore doujin for no particular reason.
gordon > 18’s still the best age to be ^^
So you didn’t bring back the one for one Rei figure.
Wait, if you did bring it back, you won’t be showing it to us, would you? lol
Stifler > Rei’s at my second home. Tokyo that is.
