Furu Anime Panikku

This is another one of those non-anime music posts that no one cares about, but I’ll just write on anyway, since I love Bump of Chicken and their music. Their music is really awesome, and they should be given much more attention and love.

Anyway, coming out on 14th May, Orbital Period. Don’t be mistaken by the name as it has the same name as their album released last December. This time, it’s the DVD version containing the latest PVs. I’m looking forward to this, since their PVs have been rather good. Here’s the PV tracklist.

It’s quite a pity that there will be no new PVs that have not been aired. I was looking forward to a new PV or two, but it seems like that won’t be happening soon.

Next piece of news is yet another release. Coming out on 18 June is a CD, Present From You. It’s basically a compilation of the side songs in their Singles. Although I don’t really like compilation albums, this one proves to be rather convinient. Here’s the tracklist for the album.

Now, I don’t have to buy all the singles in order to hear all the side songs.Still, I’ll be trying to complete my collection of Bump of Chicken’s discography.

Maybe they should have a compilation for all their hidden songs too. People would buy it for the laughs, since most of their hidden tracks are really funny. Imagine if their hidden song album hits the top ranking in the Oricon charts. Now, that would be something amusing.

What about the pricing then? 3000 yen for the DVD, 2800 yen for the DVD, which is just affordable. Not too cheap, not too expensive. I’ll be definitely getting a copy of both releases.
