DVD sales of Evangelion 1.01 began the day before the official date, on 24th April. It seems that the only thing everyone is looking out for are the cells that come with the DVD package. A thread to compile all the various cells has began on a certain Japanese forum.
Personally, I’m fine with getting anything as long as Shinji isn’t the main feature, or if the cell is that of an obscure scene, something which some rather unlucky people got.
This one’s the one I’m hoping to get, even though Shinji’s in the first box. Who cares about him anyway when 80% is Rei?
Hmm, I wonder if the cell with Rei’s plugsuit changing scene exists, and if anyone has gotten it… I wouldn’t mind getting that either =D Anyone who has snagged themselves a copy of Evangelion 1.01, please share about the cell you received. I’m sure everyone’s as curious as I am.
I am waiting for my Eva DVD. Hope I get at least the Rei one….I cant imagine why Gainax put those crappy cels with buildings, or random backgrounds in the DVD`S instead of ONLY EVA characters in key scenes…I hate to play the lottery with this, especially when this costs lots of money…
