I’ve already been back in Singapore for a couple of days, but I still have a few posts about my Japan trip that I’ve yet to finish. Posting about Japan while I’m back home in Singapore does make me feel a little depressed though.
With Akihabara, there is also Nakano Broadway as another famous otaku hotspot in Tokyo. I have paid multiple visits to Akihabara, but this was my first time visiting Nakano Broadway. As with all first times, thoughts of excitment such as “What treasures would I find here?” kicked in.

When I first entered Nakano Broadway, the first floor greeted me with normal shops. There was absolutely not even the slightest hint of any otakuish aura.

Just 2 more Fridays and the DVD I’ve long awaited will be released. Well, before it actually comes out for sale, let’s take a look and the contents included in Evangelion 1.01.
Before this, only the contents have been revealed, but there were no pictures to show what the contents really looked like. This time however, photos of all the contents have been taken.

My hands were probably grabbing CDs off the shelves too quickly when I purchased this album. I swear it somehow got into the basket without me knowing.

Anyway, this album was released on 19th March 2008, which happens to coincide with Mikuni’s 28th birthday. Oh no, I actually forgot about her birthday! What the hell’s wrong with me >_<

This collaboration has already been around for some time, but I never really took notice of it until recently. The designs are actually rather innovative as compared to Cospa’s line of Evangelion products. Cospa’s Evangelion lineup is awesome, in my opinion, but they mostly stick to the usual designs.
Out of all the design, my favourite would have to be this.

In the past when the anime watchers around me mentioned Code Geass, I often said I don’t particularly like it despite having watched it, even though the animation’s sleek, storyline’s good, and any other praises you can think of would probably apply to it. And so, when I watched the first episode of Code Geass R2, I realised I was lying to myself and to those whom I spoke to about it. I really liked Code Geass, actually.

It took me quite some time to unpack all my baggage from the trip, and finally, I’m done. Unlike my previous school trip where all the loot could be captured in a single photo, this time’s loot had to be split into multiple photos. It will be much easier for view as similar items have been grouped into the same photo.

Just in case you were wondering, I’m back in Singapore. In fact, I came back almost 10 hours ago at around 2am. The first thing I said when I stepped out was “Damn, why the hell is it so hot?!”. I need natural aircon, LOL.
Anyway, the weather aside, here’s my leftover ammunition from Japan.

The bags are all packed, and we’re soon ready to go. This will be my last post in Japan, Tokyo.

The first and third bags are going to be checked in.

This may not be my first trip to Japan, but this is the first time that I had spent so much.

In the past, I used to have half the amount I bring remaining. This time, I had to withdraw some money from the ATM. To think I said I would cut down on my spendings this trip. What a liar I am.
