That’s right, 4 May’s the high school detective’s birthday.
Usually, I only remember birthdays of (female) characters whom I like a lot, but in this case, it’s admiration instead.
I still recall myself watching the Detective Conan anime on TV more than 10 years ago, when I was only barely 7 back then. Those were the good old days when I wrote my ambition in those primary school class assignments as Detective after seeing how cool Shinichi/Conan was when he solved cases.
Of course, that ambition was soon discarded when I figured out in a couple of years later that I would probably turn out to be somewhat like Kogorou if I ever became a private detective. But then again, there’s not much of a need for deductions as seen in Detective Conan when the law enforcers have the power of technology on their side.
It’s so amusing when I look back at it now.
Hehe….I also watching it everyweeks on tvs. But I don’t really know him so much…..not even to mention his birthday…

btw double u mention watching the anime on TV. but i don’t recall seeing it on national TV. u must be referring to cable right?
