You might ask why? Here’s why.

I wish I had a cellphone that talks to wake me up each morning

I wish I had such a cute girl who is interested in me as my classmate

I wish I could hold a conversation with my cellphone

I wish I knew a cellphone that can equip itself with another cellphone

I wish I could witness an epic battle between 2 cellphones

I wish I could kick the ass of a cellphone who says such stuff to me

I wish I had such a hawt co-worker working together with my in a secret organisation
Somehow, Keita reminds me a little of Ikari Shinji, but he’s definitely manlier than Shinji can ever be. It’s only the beginning, so Keita might just grow out of being a lonely loser to becoming a super cool secret agent with a walking, talking cellphone who kicks ass as his partner.
Still, Keita is a dumbass who doesn’t realise that his cute classmate has a crush on him. Instead of desperately trying to avoid her, he should just quit being Kuuki-kun (literally translated as air-kun) and accept her affection. Hopefully, he will soon.
Oh, and his co-worker reminds me of Misato.
There are 51 episodes for this dorama, and that’s surprisingly long considering most Jdoramas end at 11 or 12 episodes. No one’s complaining though, for more is good. If you haven’t started on this dorama, but like talking handphones with leet martial art skills, hacking, and some cute girls, I suggest that you begin watching this series this instant.

LOL, you should see the actual Keitai Sousakan 7 HANDPHONES they’re trying to sell, it’s like this bulky Transformers-like handphone with limbs that you can tediously fold out to look like the dorama version XD
A part of me so wanted it
issa-sa > Yea phones that can transform are cool!
>double: But I wonder How many of them are not just decoration….hehe
Glad to read that people *are* enjoying this drama! Unfortunately the ratings in its native Japan are sadly very low (we’re talking 3% being a high!) which confuses me, because this is clearly a better drama than some of the typical shows that grace the screen.
For instance: the lead can actually act! Some of the supporting cast aren’t quite as good, but you’ve got to give credit to such a young guy. I’m about 7 episodes in, and Phonebraver 7 (the silver one) is really growing on me ^^
Well, this is a fresh change from all the whiny doramas we see on Japanese TV.
