I spotted this last night while I was out for dinner with my family at a shopping mall in the neighbourhood. I apologise for th poor image quality. My handphone sucks at taking quick sneaky shots.
There’s supposed to be a pre-relocating sale on majority of all the items in that certain Comics Connection branch, and the goods with the most discounts are the anime VCDs . I guess that’s the most logical thing to do, considering Bluray’s growing usage.
On a closer look, I recalled that some, if not almost all of the vcds have been left there for more than a year. And now, even with this $5 sale, no one wants them at a 75% discounted price.
I can imagine this conversation.
****
Store attendant A: Why aren’t the VCDs on sale selling?
Store attendant B: VCDs aren’t selling now. Not with DVDs and Bluray.
Store attendant A: But we already gave a 75% discount off the original price!
Store attendant B: It’s the logo I tell you! THE LOGO!
****
I think the store’s better off leaving their stock of VCDs behind when the relocate. It’s a waste of space anyway, since no one has bought any of it for the past year or so.

Frankly, I won’t even bring them home even if it’s free. Some of the titles are way back anime that should be kept forgotten.
True. I won’t be getting them even if its free. DVDs and Bluray is the way to go.
$5 or not I still won’t purchase them.. The video quality of the animes from those are very low quality.. Might as well get from other sources which offer HD quality..
BURN IN HELL XEDO!
lol… i wanted to comment but gordon helped me.
I most definitely won’t touch them for the logo and solely the logo.
And @Gordon, yes, I agree, wholeheartedly.
