My loyalty lies with Nerv, hence the Nerv flag. The Rei and Kaworu poster, because Rei’s in it. The Asuka and Shinji poster’s to complement the former poster. That way, Rei’s beauty will stand out even more and I get to complete the set of 2 posters. Now, I need to find space in my room for the 2 posters and the flag.
The rest of the stuff were purchased in the heat of the moment. After more than 24 hours of the transaction, I still have no idea why I bought the 2 Gintama shitajikis. Forget it, I shall not bother myself over 12 dollars. As for the Nerv badge, I’m starting to think that it isn’t an impulse purchase. I do actually collect Evangelion pin badges, so I guess I can overlook it for a tiny bit.
I was at Kinokuniya yesterday, and thankfully, I managed not to succumb to the 20% sales. It’s not because I have nothing to buy, but that the stuff I want just coincidentally happened to be out of stock. I presume that’s a sign of divine intervention. My wallet must be praying to the money gods for sparing its life, for now.
On another note, I’ve once again learned how expensive airport taxes are. Hopefully, the domestic taxes in Japan aren’t too expensive.

I actually thought of getting more items from Kinokuniya while I was queuing but I changed my mind since the queue is long; the weekend 20% sales attracted a train of shoppers.
