I thought I was in for a real treat when I read that some Japanese gravure idol named Morishita Yuuri released a photobook with images of her cosplaying as Ayanami Rei. It does indeed sound like something worth purchasing.
However, things are always the opposite of what you imagine them to be.
No money’s coming out of my pockets for this photobook, ZERO, for the following reasons:
- I never had, never have, and probably will never develop the habit of buying gravure idol photobooks.
- I don’t sense any Rei feel from her cosplay images.
- The book’s cover is crap.
- The whole book isn’t dedicated to only Rei cosplay images.
- It’s a freaking 3,990 yen.
- She looks plain weird to me.
Here’s a sample of 2 pages from the photobook, and more photos here. The sample isn’t too bad, but it’s far from convincing me to fork out a single yen.
Why pay for cosplay photos of similar standards of that photobook when you can get photos like this, FREE!?
P.S. This post was completed in less than 10 minutes since the content’s mostly in the images, and I did say that I would only blog if I could complete a post in 10 minutes.
double, i think the lass looks pretty sweet. i think u are just asking for too much. anyway 3,990 yen is cheap in my opinion, but having said that, i too would not spend my money on it even though its cheap cos the internet is free (i love u internet!)
and her skirt looks mighty short in the first pic. yum.
maybe got more slutty imagination of Rei inside the photobook

yes i noticed the skirt too its way too short and it doesnt even fit her. rei looks better.
