Mind you, that’s the phone’s media player I’m trying to start up, not some third party software.
I’m using a 2GB memory card, with only 65 songs, and there’s still more than 1.4GB free. On my Toshiba 803T, I’ve never faced this problem even with twice the number of songs. What kind of bullshit is this?
That’s not the only thing that pissed me off.
When I unsealed the phone package, inserted the SIM card, and powered the phone on for the very first time, performance was very sluggish. The phone hung a couple of times, and maneuvering around was nothing but laggy. In my entire life as a mobile phone consumer, never have I come across such quality of processing in mobile phones. Yesterday broke the record.
A classmate of mine has this phone too, and I’m really curious as to how he can live with such slow processing speeds. Even the monochrome phones from a decade ago weren’t of this standard.
So long Sony Ericsson W910i, it’s been nice knowing you for less than 24 hours. Well, if you would excuse me, I’ll be returning back to my 803T.

OH SHIT, your phone looks awesome!
Me? I don’t even have one …
I agree with you…. my SE Z1010 is the worst mobile phone i ever had… it has the same shity problems as your much newly model w910.
it’s time for a change :3
dude I want a w910… [/poor american]
blissmo > No phone? Why is that the case?
Dj Juvan > And to think all the crap started even within a few minutes of usage.
omo > Even after knowing how crappy the processing power is?
LOL. this is why i don’t buy sony ericsson phones…
THIS is the W910i? WTF?!
I have the W580i, and it has only hung on me when I try to play video and lock the phone at the same time.
Media player works fine too, if a bit sluggish and feature-less.
But one thing I HATE about the phone is the inability it has to recognize the SD card files sometimes, I can wake up one fine morning and find my mp3 folder empty.
Sure am glad I didn’t buy this model though, if it is as bad as you say. XD
I use SE W850i (first seen in Da Vincci code) and love it despite it powers off from time to time… cuz it fell off countless times already.
@double: I live close to school so my parents think I don’t need one.
soshi > Now I know why…
C.I. > It downright sucks. Really.
samejima > Mine’s brand new, and there are problems already!
My SE W660i works perfectly fine. Seldom hangs, and I only play music/pick up calls/sms with it.
