I never knew of Takahashi Hitomi until the day of I heard this song in Toshokan Sensou’s OP. I’m really hooked on her voice and this song to an extent that I’ve tried to the very best of my moonspeak linguistic abilities to translate this song. After all, it doesn’t seem like anyone’s going to do it, since she isn’t exactly popular.
Pardon my mistakes, as I have only picked up Japanese for less than a year, 9 months to be exact. Also, the only person who has checked through this translation is me, since I couldn’t get anyone else. There’s always a first time for everything, I guess.

I admit, she did get better since then. totally like Toshokan Sensou OP.

Yeah, Toshokan’s OP is great, but I didn’t watch Blood+ or GSD much, so I can’t comment if this single is better.
And do I fail if I prefer the ED of Toshokan Sensou? “Changes” is really frickin’ catchy.
Loved her style ever since she made her debut with Bokutachi no Yukue, though I can’t seem to find any other stuff by her other than animu songs. That, or I’m not looking hard enough.

I like her GSD OP Bokutachi Wa No Yukue the best ^^ She can do both happy and more dramatic songs, which do you think suits her more?

Last “subete” should be “zenbu”.

i’ve never heard of her before and b4 i know it i’ve been looping this song since i started watching toshokan sensou few days ago. gonna buy this single and hopefully more ppl would support her.
Saying she isn’t popular isn’t excactly true imo though I agree she isn’t excactly a whole lot in the spot light. But WOW I love that voice of her’s. Just so powerful, fierce and honest and then she can change it all around to sound small and fragile. Anyways had to say my thanks for this translation, makes the song even better reading this while hearing <3<3
yeah, dude. Her voice is just too great, I got hooked 5 years ago, and I am not stopping to love this voice; and her lyrics, just way too inspirational and complex than any “love and want you” sort of shit. there are alot of other Hitomi songs you should try, “evergreen”, “もうひとつの夜明け”, 風のキリン”, it’s been my favourite so far.
