Kaze Daizaemon aka Muscle Rider from Gantz has always been ranked at the top few spots of my GAR chart. His ranking did boost to the top 3 when he could leave Gantz’s game but remained in order to protect Takeshi, the small kiddo. Man, if I was dragged into such a insane game, I would escape from the madness as soon as I get the chance, not stay in it to fight more aliens, bare fisted.
The latest 2 chapters have rocketed him to the official number one spot on my chart, making him the GARest of the GARs. Even when Oka Hachirou, supposedly the strongest Gantz player, gave up fighting the final boss and ran away with his tail in between his legs, Muscle Rider never hesitated to step up fighting against the alien. His only thought was to end the game fast, in order for Takeshi to get transported back alive to the room. Such selflessness was something no one else except Katou possessed, and he isn’t even half as GAR as Kaze.
I really hope the big guy doesn’t die to the seemingly immortal alien. He has to live on to don his crown as King of the GARs.
I bet that he would die. He would die, giving his life up to bring that alien down, thus allowing Takeshi to live. But of course, he could win. This is just the ending that I think is most likely.
You should have seen the garness of commander Ota in gunbuster, i think he started it. xD
