It’s finally out. After months and months of waiting, Revoltech has finally announced an official date for the Laevatein’s release! 15 August!!! You can check out the details at Amiami.
Never have I wanted an action figure so badly, but this is the FREAKING ARX-8, so I suppose I can!
Priced at 2590 yen, which is slightly more expensive than the 1990 yen Revoltechs, the price is fully justified with all the parts included. The size, 12.5cm is rather reasonable for the price tag too.
The best part of the ARX-8 Revoltech has got to be the “hair. The prototype’s “hair” was white, just like the venoms, but for the final product, it’s a cool shade of blue, as though it’s some flame of some sort. This only rockets the coolness level over 9000!!!
You can be sure than I’m getting 2 ARX-8s, as stated ages ago.
Also, this reminds me. When the hell is Alter going to release their ARX-7? Or are they even going to? They stated summer this year, and it’s already summer and there’s not even the slightest trace of any related news. I just hope they won’t disappoint the huge FMP fanboy within me.
On another note, I still have not gotten my Gurren Lagann Revoltechs yet, since KKnM hasn’t brought them in yet. I’ll probably wait and get all of them in one swoop. Saves time, and probably money too.
The ARX-8’s already uber l33t in the novels; in combat and in design. It’s like the Arbalest, but with a flame upgrade. Almost looks like the Aussenseiter and the Ialdabaoth from SWR.
And it seems that they also included the supersized rifle… a gun with a recoil so powerful, even the installed Lambda Drive wasn’t enough to stabilize the Laevatein. ^_^
thats just… OMG AWESOMESAUCE!! there’s so many gadgets that come with it. I was planning to get an Arbalest but i think i’ll go straight for the ARX-8. Sojourner papa, buy me one please..

i still love arbalest very much….arx-8 give me a feeling it sacrifice mobility for more firepower….and when i look at his head….i got…a cat face? i mean….just somehow weird….and the color theme….i have only seen Gauron Red Codarli….and it look so much different from the Grey-Silver Mithril AS….
