Back due to overwhelming response, I present to you yet again another 4 more ways to flood your blog’s traffic, just like how Lelouch was owned in the recent episode 10.
1. Use “Popular” Keywords in Post Titles
When I posted this entry ages ago, I was trying to be funny with the title. Who would have known that it turned out to be one my of posts with the top hits, even though sex drive was only mentioned in a sentence or two?
The most popular search terms I get are without any doubt, shotacon and lolicon. I did indeed come up with a post which was somewhat in detail regarding the former, but the latter was only mentioned in the title of the first post about my trip to Japan this year.
If there’s anyone whom you can learn from in this aspect, it has got to be the unrivaled GGMM (Great Grand Mango Master), Tripeman. If you notice, his post titles are the best and most misleading out there in the anime blogosphere. That’s probably half the reason why RIUVA’s so popular.
2. Comment Baits
To put it nicely, it’s known as reader interaction. Simply ask a question such as “WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE NARUTO HERO!!!?!” and watch the comments flood in.
Remember that epic no-brainer post some time ago by LianYL which garnered a crapload of comments? That’s the highest level one can attain in this aspect. Learn from the man himself.
3. Create an Alter Ego
Conflicts and drama, the love of netizens.
A new web persona’s the way to go. Even better, a doppelgänger . You may be awarded the Guinness World Records of possessing the most number of Nice Guy cards in the real world, but when you’re online, the light and dark side of you engages in cyberspace battles putting Raiden and Vamp’s battle to shame. It’s essentially 2 authors in one blog, although there’s physically only one.
As of present, there’s only one guy/girl/trap whom I know has a split online personality. Sojourner, you’ve got to work harder to establish both you and your evil digital clone’s presence!
Just don’t let it get out of hand and seep into real life. Else, things will turn ugly. Real ugly.
I’m not sure if there is going to be a part 3 sequel to this, since there’s no point airing stuff that no one ever watches on television anyway. Either way, you can try out these tips and tricks, and observe if there’s any improvement. Alternatively, if you have tried them out already, you could comment on how nfity/bullshit these tips are.
As for me? Back to playing MGS4.

One of the most popular keywords in my title was Haruhi and at this time, it is the most popular title on my blog…guess thats really true….:P
Haha. Our Soul Eater posts are getting a lot of views because of search words like ‘Tsubaki hentai’ and ‘Maka hentai’. And my favourite search word that has led to our blog is ‘is it okay to wear a dildo to work?’.
It is amazing how effective it is for misleading titles to attract people’s attention. Otherwise usually no one would want to visit our drab-like little tavern.

I love seeing some of the search phrases people use to find blogs. On a previous blog, one guy searching on google for “lizard tentacle rape” or something stupid like that somehow found my blog. And then less than a minute later, some other dude came across my blog after searching for something equally as stupid/perverted. Both people were from different IP’s in Europe. Them perverted Europeans.

Here’s my suggestion: image flood of real life lolis. I guarantee you that once word gets around of your images, you’ll get between a 500% to 10,000% spike in traffic. Nobody loses with pics of real life lolis.*
(*Note: I, for one, would never actually do this. But I know there are some out there who would, will, or already have?)

I always thought titles were the biggest reason a blog post is read. Hence, we’ll always make the titles really long and intriguing or include porno words.
Also, the LianYL post was a shocking one-off event.
I must remember to add “Hentai” here and there! ^_^
