I gave Day 1 a pass as I was too lazy to travel an hour just to snap photos. That, and I was also thinking that there wouldn’t be much on Day 1. After seeing coverage of Day 1 on other blogs, I think I’ve not missed out much. Day 2 seems to be much better.

Unlike other posts that feature complete coverage of all cosplayers at the event, I’ll only be posting the cosplayers whom I really liked. After all, there’s no point in doing what the rest are. There will be more shots of certain cosplayers, so the more images of the same cosplayer you see, the better I like them. No Bleach, Naruto or D.gray-man characters though =X

Besides the photos I took while randomly wandering around, I did a brief photoshoot with the Persona 3 team too. I was a little nervous that I’d screw up.
I shall not be covering this, but leaving this to Sentinel011 and Umehiko of The Bonkurasu Brigade instead. The photoshoot was quite fun, and I’m looking forward to possible future opportunities, if any.
Cosfest 2008 ended with a mass cosplayer dance on the stage, followed by them training now the stage and into the crowd. It was quite chaotic since everyone was running wild, but that added to the fun of the last few minutes of the event.
Overall, it was great fun, and I learned a little bit more about my camera too. I need to keep practising to snap better shots.
This will probably be my last local cosplay event for the year. Come EOY, I’ll probably be in Cambodia buying toilets against my will while the rest of you are gleefully snapping cosplay shots. Sucks to be me.

Unfortunately P-Meister got a poor shot of that Haruhi cosplayer. She does have the spunk in portraying Haruhi so it was a pity we could not provide a good enough picture to bring out that charm.

Glad to see improvement in your camera-fu. Sony has good colour colour reproduction and image stabilization. The weather was perfect too.
On another note, I saw you a couple of times but didn’t have the courage to say “Hi”. You eyeballed me on those occasions too. FYI, I was the tall guy in all black + SQ5 headphones + red keffiyeh. So I’m dropping by to say “Hi!” right now. Better late than never.
