This time, Gainax has decided to milk the Evangelion fangirls by revealing plans to releasing an artbook of their silver-haired sexually disorientated bishonen. And what’s with the choice of the artbook’s name?
Besides the artbook being 224 pages thick probably featuring Kaworu from the TV series and the Rebuild, nothing much is known about this release. There isn’t even a release date or the pricing, but I’m definitely sure that Gainax will be releasing this, just like the many artbooks out there by them. I just know they will, for I probably know them a little too well.
As the unofficial Gainax motto goes “If there’s cash to be milked from fans, just milk it!”.
I demand that Gainax releases a Rei artbook, featuring at least 250 pages of pure Rei goodess. Those guys should really think about the needs of Rei fanboys. Plus, I’m a zillion percent sure that a Rei artbook will sell much better than any other Evangelion character.
Anyway, check out the latest issue of Newtype released today for more details. If you’re a Kaworu fangir/fantrap, that is.
