Watching Anime On TV

It’s been a long time since I’ve sat on the couch in the living room while watching local TV. I just broke that streak today by watching Zero no Tsukaima Season 3 on ArtsCentral.

Yes, his mansaber really is gone. This explains why Saitou’s so emo

Actually, I wasn’t exactly watching, since I was half-asleep more than half the time. School with all the assignment deadlines and Japanese classes have drained a whole lot of soul and energy out of me. It feels like I’m one of the living dead.

If there’s one thing that this viewing session made me realise, it’s that I hate commercial breaks. Immediately after the OP finished, the show is directed into a commercial break featuring some random documentaries, and that sort of killed the anime-watching mood.

I never took noticed the quality of the subs, since I was listening more than I was watching. I didn’t get what the hell was going on as I partially dozed off a couple of minutes into the show, so I’ll have to rewatch the episode again.

Maybe I’ll consider implementing the watching of the third season on ArtsCentral as a weekly ritual. That is, if I don’t fall asleep once I lie on the comfy sofa.

Fukken Cockblocker Siesta spoilt what could have been the greatest opening scene to any Anime.

    EVER.

Watching anime on TV is okay for me, as long as it’s not dubbed

Watching anime raw on TV is NOT okay because you don’t get to pause and rewind whenever something happens or someone says something you couldn’t really catch… I still do it for Code Geass though, because well, it’s Code Geass :P

    Exactly double!

I wonder why they place soooooooo many advertisements here and there. I was watching the 1st episode of Shakugan no Shana on Arts Central and they play advertisement 5 minutes into Shana. Not only so, there are other advertisement slots later too, spoil my whole plasma tv experience.

Hello, I’ve just found this site whilst I’m hunting around the Internet as I’m searching for some info on LCD TVs!. It’s an interesting website so I’ve bookmarked you and intend to revisit another day to have a more detailed browse when I can give it more time.
