Furu Anime Panikku

I’ve yet to purchase a single issue of Dragon Age. Each time I headed down to Kinokuniya, it would have been sold out. However, I’m not going to let the August 2008 issue pass by me. Not when I saw the poster coming with it here, measuring 66cm by 98cm.

Swordswomen in aprons are hawt…

This poster is stated to be life-sized, so that’s probably why it features her kneeling.

But swordswomen in yukatas are still the hawtest

If she was portrayed as in the image above, poised in a battle stance with her beautifully crafted katana (a pose which I’m really looking forward to ^^), the poster would probably have to be at least 1.5 times longer to fit the actual size. I’m not complaining though, since something is better than nothing.

If I’m able to get my hands on this, I’m not sure if I’m going to be putting up this poster. I’ll probably try and if I don’t get any negative reactions, it’ll stay up for good.

Instinct kicked in and I dialed up Kinokuniya to check if stock has arrived. Sadly, I was informed that it wouldn’t be coming in until late this month, but I wasn’t told how late is late. Looks like I’ll have to make a call to the store for the following Wednesdays and Fridays until stock arrives.

I’m a huge fan of High School of the Dead, and Saeko in particular. It’s a pity that the series doesn’t get much love in the merchandise section, save for the Miyamoto Rei figurine by Toyworks. I would have gotten it if it was done by the Trinity.

Now what the world needs is a couple of High School of the Dead figurines, some random merchandise which rabid fans will buy but not use, and last but not least, an anime adapation.
