I Think I Will Turn Blind Faster Than I Expected

And even if I don’t, the raditation emission is probably going to kill me faster than you can scream “MOE!”.

It’s been a long time since I ever went to an IT sales convention as a customer. The past few times had me working my ass off. This time, I actually get to spend some moolah. Whee!

Freedom Formula: Sexy Mechas

After reading 0ne’s introduction to Freedom Formula, I knew that I just had to read it. After all, I fell in love on first sight with the mecha design ever since I spotted the figurines at STCC a couple of months ago. It’s great that Kinokuniya imported it in.

Introducing Manga

A classmate of mine in Japanese class wanted to start off with some manga reading so that he could put his Japanese reading skills to practice, as well as to slightly improve his vocabulary.

Since I attend Japanese lessons twice a week and the main Kinokuniya Branch’s just down the road, I usually make my purchases just before lesson time, so as to save myself an extra trip. Sometimes, the Kinokuniya plastic bag’s just too bulky to be contained within my bag, especially when I buy monthly serialisations. Therefore, I carry them by hand, and it’s no surprise that the whole class knows that I read manga. But I always tell them it’s for practice purposes.

Anyway, since he was quite eager to start on Japanese manga, I figured that I might as well give him a hand when he asked if I could head over to Kinokuniya together with him. Who knows, he may turn out to be someone who loves manga.

Extra Space Is Not Always Better

There was some sale that was on at IKEA a couple of months ago, and I purchased a second bookshelf then. I clearly knew that I had more than enough shelf space, be it for figurines, CDs or reading materials. Yet, I was some way or another, convinced that it would be better to get an extra just in case all my storage space runs out.

And so, all the stuff which could be packed nicely into 1 bookshelf is now split into two. This is what it results in.

RADIO EVA: Overpriced Wear for Ninja Evangelion Fans

I’ve always thought that the Evangelion X BEAMS line of clothing was overpriced, despite their innovative designs. Then came along RADIO EVA, boring designs and overpriced cloth.

Why, this looks like any dull Polo Tee.

Guess how much it’s going to cost. It will blow your mind away.

Should I Be Glad That Tales Of The Abyss Retains Its Theme Song?

I’ve never played the game since I never owned a PS2, so I shall not speak of what I lack knowledge of. However, I can confidently say that I’ve looped through its theme song, Karma, for at least a few hundred times ever since I started listening to Bump of Chicken back in 2006. I was quite surprised that the anime adaptation’s using Karma as the opening theme song too. With this, Bump of Chicken will now have 2 songs out of their entire discography related to anime. In case you’re wondering, the other song is Sailing Day, which was the ending theme song for one of the One Piece movies.

JLPT 4 Mock Test

As I’ll not be taking JLPT 4, my Japanese language school decided to give all students who will be taking the JLPT 3 this year a mock sitting of the JLPT 4. I was quite surprised by difficulty of the paper. It was rather simple, with only a couple of questions that were slightly tricky.

Here’s my score.

I wonder why there’s a Kaomoji printed on the result slip

I had a total of 4 errors, and that cost 16 marks. Ouch.
