At long last, I finally get my hands on my very own ARX-8. I’d very much prefer a life-sized, fully functional ARX-8, but sadly, it exists only in my imagination, so I think I should just settle for the action figurine model instead.

So, why is the ARX-8 so awesome? Let’s overlook the fact that its arsenal consists of the lambda driver, the 65mm Multi-purpose Demolition Howitzer and a few other weapons that would instill fear in the hearts of even its bravest foes.
As of the current Revoltech product line, the ARX-8 is definitely on a brand new level of its own. The number of weapons and parts alone probably surpasses 2 regular Revoltech mechas. Also, it’s not only quantity that the ARX-8 scores in. The quality of the weapons are slightly more detailed than that of your usual Revoltech mecha fare. Although the ARX-8 costs slightly more than your average Revoltech release, it’s definitely a buy that’s worth every single yen spent.
You just need to look at all the goodies packed within and I’m sure you’ll get convinced! Well, at least a classmate of mine who doesn’t have the habit of purchasing figurines did.

Taken with the ARX-8 wallpaper
I actually wanted to do a proper outdoor photoshoot, but since it’s the exam period and I’m also feeling a little sluggish. Hence, that will have to wait. However, as you can see, I’ve tried taking some photos with my 26″ monitor as the backdrop. I have to admit that I suck at posing action figurines, so the image and the figurine itself don’t really have the exact similar pose. And to think that it took me ages to adjust it from its out-of-package state into this.

And this one’s with the screen off
It was quite difficult trying to snap some shots with the screen behind the figurines, as the figurines would always turn out dark in the images due to the screen’s light. I’m still not sure of how I can overcome this problem. Anyone has any idea how?

The unopened ARX-8 isn’t mine. I think I’ll get my second set a little later
So any fellow FMP fanboys or girls who bought the awe-inspiring Laevatein too?

A good figure but probably not gonna get it… discouraged of getting one since there are too many accessories… I’d be confused in making review and which parts to use during photoshoot.
it looks badass
Quite a nice figurine, with my love of all things mecha and cute I have to consciously resist the urge to get figures. They are oh so tempting though.
and that’s….mine….
samejima > Yea, I think I’m going to have a hard time when it comes to the proper photoshoot.
otaku dan > It doesn’t just look badass, it’s badass.
Gyffles > Get it!
jinya > Haha, yea that’s yours alright.
Badass figure is badass.
The awesomeness of FMP cannot be denied. Patiently awaiting mine.
where’d you find this
It looks awsome.
Its a great figure, have to admit that it was my first one… is hard, and expensive, to get those around here, but hell is FMP is worth it.. and so it began now I have the M9 and ARX7 from Mode Loock, now saving for my Falke and the real and really expensive Arbalest …. they wait is killing me..
