Sheesh Y’all, It’s More Than Just Anime
With Left 4 Dead released not too long ago, my classmates and I had a conversation regarding it. We already have 3 people in the class who own original versions of the game, with a few more to join in after our upcoming tests end. However, there was this particular guy who got on my nerves when he went around asking if anyone could let him install the game using their Steam account. He wanted to play the game but wasn’t willing to fork out any cash for it.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have an issue. An issue of far more importance than squabbling over autographed whiteboards and kowtowing, although I have to admit that I still get a good laugh out of Mr Kowtow’s drama. During the AFA, a sinister presence was lurking in the seas of sweaty otakus, threatening the well-being of the innocent anime fans. A word of warning before we begin, please put on your protective goggles.

I was studying for my upcoming papers from scratch and didn’t realise that it was already past 12 midnight until the first birthday greeting of the day came in via email.
Since Day 2 wasn’t much different from Day 1 except for the concert and some other stage events, there wasn’t much of a reason to arrive early today. In fact, there wasn’t much of a reason to come, besides May’n’s Live.
Before I begin on the nitty-gritty details of today’s highlights, here’s my favourite cosplayer of the day. If only I had requested for her to pose with the revolver.
She has the Kino feel
Day 1 of AFA08 had crazy queues, mainly the entrance ticketing booth. And so, I patiently queued up with my sister to get our normal tickets.
Speaking of tickets, I was only told by those who had media passes that my name was on the media pass list after I paid for my ticket and entered. I didn’t expect my name to be registered, since I submitted my application merely 3 days prior to the event and didn’t receive a reply of any sort. So, I wasted 8 dollars for nothing LOL. I ended up giving my ticket away to someone who might want it, since there it isn’t of any use to me anymore.
