This is precisely why otakus, geeks, nerds and any other similar categorised males shouldn’t invite any XX-chromosome counterparts into their humble abode. It only spells disaster, bold in caps. Unless, of course, your partner is of the same breed.
Anyway, I’m just curious, but does anyone have a similar experience, be it excluding or including the last 3 frames? It’ll be interesting if anyone has such a legend to share.
For those wondering, here’s where I came across this comic. Although the Cowboy doesn’t run an anime blog, most of the random crap that he links to is pretty amusing.
I don’t have much in the way of anime things in my room in the first place besides a few posters. My anime-watching friends aren’t exactly impressed by what I have- my room is pretty average. Well, it’s not common for me to invite people in general over to my house either. It’s even more uncommon for them to actually see my room.
The one person who came into my room uninvited, thankfully, was an anime fan. He looked mildly impressed until I shooed him away from my room. >.>;;
When “normal” people see my room they usually know beforehand that I watch anime, and they do stare at the posters interestedly for a bit before looking at something else. That’s about it.
*Sigh… why do real girls have such a bad reputation on the internet? What did we ever do to you people?
