Mirai Nikki’s a pretty screwed up manga, and I mean it in a good sense. It’s not the plot that’s screwed up, but rather the characters. Before, I thought that most of the players in the game had lost it except for Yukiteru, but in the latest chapter, I’m convinced that every single being in Mirai Nikki has serious issues. It’s only typical for all of them to be demented though, since it would be abnormal for the characters to be normal under such insanity.

We get to witness Yukiteru embarking on a relentless killing spree as self defense. The way he went through his assailants was simply like merciless swatting of flies. They went down so easily.
The wimpy kid has now transformed into a dauntless man, all ready to kick ass. I really like the all-new confident Yukiteru. He appears ready for anything coming his way, even if it means facing off against a squad of elite ninja cats.

Well said
Also, he states that he’ll be the new God. Such bold resolution!
The past few chapters maintained the constant excitement of Mirai Nikki with some deaths as well as a little insight to Yukiteru’s family matters. However, I think the plot just might be taken to a whole new level with everyone unmasked, and the presence of the crazed couple.
I can already visualize some interesting battles with Yukiteru and Yuno fighting back to back, slicing and dicing everything that comes in their way, followed by the undramatic scene where Yukiteru has to kill Yuno in order to become God, only to revive her back together with his parents.

Or even better, more drastic plot twists with a healthy dosage of betrayal. After tasting so much betrayal in both Mirai Nikki and Bloody Monday, I’ve lost my sense of taste to judge which one’s more succulent. Both are just simply delicious in the same aspect.
Either way, I can’t wait for the next issue of Shonen Ace.

I read up on emergency behaviours some time back (and during my medic time), and for him to react in such abnormal situations, is actually pretty normal.
Unfortunately, the profound effect on “normal psychological behaviour” of Yukiteru would be self-indoctrination, a change of set behavioural patterns that are more suited to a civilized society, to a more aggressive, “beastial”-like ones, and ultimately, landing a far worse outcome in the future.
That said, are there tankoubon versions for the two series you’ve read? XD
Yeah, Yuki got bad ass. And he even looks taller. XD
TP > Yeah, there are tankoubon versions for Mirai Nikki and Bloody Monday. I’m currently buying Bloody Monday, which is at volume 9 now. Mirai Nikki would have to wait since now’s not a good time to buy stuff from Japan. Not with the insane yen rates.
Stifler > Yea, he grew taller in a mere 5 days. It’s like super speedy puberty.
