I could have caught the movie much earlier last year, but I chose the Gurren Lagann movie over this. It’s not like I’m regretting my choice though, since both movies have their own strengths.

甘い甘い甘い甘い~ 恋人~!
Without a doubt, the DMC movie is entertaining. Needless to say, anyone who has been reading the manga, or watching the OVAs would be cackling away throughout the duration of this film. Even for those who have yet to be introduced to DMC through other mediums, the movie would still prove to be great humour material.

Geez, I really think there’s something wrong with the vision of some people who think I’m female. Those people desperately need a form of corrective vision.

Just yesterday, I was standing in queue for dinner, wearing a t-shirt and a pair of bermudas. When it came to my turn, the attendant asked “Hi Miss, what do you want to buy?” in Chinese. I’m certain no one has ever heard of this band before. You won’t even be able to find their CD in any music store, even in Japan.

How I came across their music was really random. I was browsing some band’s MySpace page and there was a comment with a link to Ajisai Town’s website. Browsing around a little, I found it pretty interesting that the band does their own illustrations, with a character each to portray themselves. So, I decided to give their music a go. Surprisingly, their music’s quite awesome. Nowhere near Bump of Chicken or Radwimps level, but still much better as compared to a number of those Oricon chart toppers. I shall not mention other names.
