I’m sure many of you would have first heard of this Base Ball Bear’s music somewhere, be it Gintama, Oofuri or Toshokan Sensou. Well, at least I did, and I liked the theme songs they did for the mentioned shows. However, when I tried digging deeper into the BBB’s other works, I can’t exactly find much that impresses. Their music’s good, but just lacking in somewhere which I’m not sure either.
Anyway, the main purpose of this entry isn’t about how much I like or dislike BBB. It’s about how they love zombies, and how they show their love for the undead fiends in the PV of their soon-to-be released single, 神々LOOKS YOU. It might be Engrish, but hey…. look zombies!
I like how the BBB’s guitarist/vocalist walks around with his headphones on, oblivious to the viral outbreak. Even with an entire horde of undead rotting flesh eaters hot on his trails, he continues enjoying his music with what looks like a pair of Audio Technica headphones. He isn’t playing it cool, he’s totally chilled! Tell me, where can you find a calm person with a whole platoon of marching corpses are dragging their feet behind?
The song is pretty alright, but the zombies raise this PV to the level of awesomeness. Even if it’s just 98% focusing on the dude walking on the streets enjoying his music.
Why, oh why, can’t more Japanese music PVs be more interesting?

LOL… The zombie should try to enjoy the music too.
I should really be going back to play L4D. Too much TF2 has made me become a rusher in FPS games.
