I don't think it's particularly fair to choose a picture of him from a movie in a completely different setting and style to use that as an example. I think if you messed up his hair, changed his attitude, and trained him to act like Sousuke, he could be pretty convincing. Besides, Sousuke doesn't even LOOK Japanese in the show.
